Kirsten is a Bloomington, IN native. She earned her MSEd in Mental Health Counseling and her BA in Psychology and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington.
Kirsten is passionate about working with middle schoolers, high schoolers, and new adults, and being able to help them work through trauma, identity development, anxiety, depression, and difficult life adjustments. Kirsten believes in unconditional positive regard towards all, no matter their situation or circumstances.
When Kirsten is not working, she enjoys reading, crafting, spending time with friends, practicing her learned languages, and teaching Color Guard for the Panther Regiment at BHSS. Kirsten is pursuing one of her dreams by working at Catholic Charities Bloomington and hopes to be able to continue learning new therapeutic interventions to further clients’ progress and empowerment in sessions. In addition to this she hopes to one day be able to provide services in the languages she has studied in school.
