Emily is from Cleveland, Ohio, and earned their MS in Human Development and Family Science, Couple and Family Therapy program at North Dakota State University.
Emily is passionate about relationships and families, focusing on ways to improve relationships between teens and parents, working with teens that get a bad rap, yielding space to anyone who has ever felt disenfranchised to speak, whisper, shout, or sing their experiences.
When they are not at work with therapy pup Amina, likely at the dog park, reading, watching movies, or playing whichever tabletop or video game they’re obsessed with at the moment (probably Animal Crossing).
