David is from Lafayette, IN and graduated with his MSW from the University of Chicago in 2009. Since then, he has lived here in Bloomington and worked as a youth director at First United Methodist and as a therapist at Meadows Hospital.
David enjoys meeting with people of all ages and working alongside them cooperatively on a wide variety of issues. Always interested in learning new ways to approach life’s challenges, David is amazed at the resilience of the people he meets and is particularly interested in helping them use their strengths and gifts to remove barriers to their own healing.
David brings a mix of playfulness and sincerity, enthusiasm, curiosity, and creativity to whatever he's engaged with - whether it's therapy, making music, pulling weeds or trying out a weird recipe for dinner. David lives on a small farm/intentional community (www.commonhomefarm.org) just north of town with his partner, Laura, and two children, Alice and Leo.
