CCB Counseling Services has been incredibly lucky to receive the generous support of our community. Partners like the Bloomington Health Foundation, Community Foundation, and United Way of Monroe County make it possible for us to continue our mission of providing high quality mental health care. These groups and others have given us funds to subsidize the cost of certain programs, making it more affordable or free for you, our clients. Below you can find a list of the programs we offer right now that are funded through grant awards.
Current Grant Supported Programs
Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Grant Funding
VOCA provides funding to agencies who work with survivors of violence of any kind; physical abuse, emotional abuse, and sexual abuse. CCB received a VOCA award in 2020. VOCA funds are meant to help survivors through offering mental health services free of charge to those who qualify. Clients and CCB therapists work together to determine whether VOCA might be the right fit for them.
